Bodhisatva

Bodhisattva Padmapani, mural painting by an unknown artist that is believed to date from the late 5th century. The mural is in Cave 1 of the Ajanta Caves, located in Maharashtra state, western India, and it reflects the beauty and classical sophistication of the arts of India’s Gupta dynasty. I have recreated this artwork with no paint but with different shades of paper that has been meticulously rolled for days and matched the shades accordingly. This painting is framed with glass to protect the paper and a golden frame to enhance the ancient look!
